Lucy was sold as a 2 year old to Claire Moore and has gone to her new home at the end of May 2007

Hope you are all well.
Just a little note to let you know how Lucy is doing…well, she did not move a muscle the whole way home on the box and when we opened the ramp at the other end she was as cool as a cucumber! She took a few large sniffs of what was outside and strolled onto the yard like she was on the catwalk, “Do you know who I am?! I’ve arrived!!!”
She is turned out with Panache my little palomino pony who has been there, seen it, done it, and is now 31! They are now the best of chums as you can see from the picture.
I cannot express in words how happy I am with Lucy (think I might cry), if I had searched the whole world over I would not have found a more beautiful horse. She is friendly (she sees me pull up in my car and starts walking to the gate for cuddles), inquisitive (how hard can I nudge this wheelbarrow before it falls over?!), stunning (she is a complete show-off, standing so tall and proud as soon as she thinks someone is looking!), funny (do I still look beautiful if I hold your handbag in my teeth?!) and yet still able to have the biggest brat attack (stamping in fresh poo with both front feet, yes at the same time!) She is such a character and I LOVE her to bits, she just gets better every day, I feel really lucky to have found my dream horse. She measured very roughly with a big scary stick 15.2hh today!
THANK YOU, watch this space!
Look forward to seeing you all at the open day. Hmmm note to self…take purse.
