Holme Trakehner Open Day 2003

The second year now in 2003 the Holme Trakehner had their Open Day in their new build Holme Park Stud.  This yearly show was probably the most successful this year.

More than 200 visitors watched the program.  The centre of attention was of course the offspring from this year.  Holme Park is perfectly planned and built for this kind of show.

The Highlights were the presentations of the three sires.  Holme Grove Solomon did the opening with his rider Liz Attew.  This impressive sire was eyecatching as always with his strength and expression.  With his young rider he showed some movements on medium level.

With his athletic , big movements and beautiful confirmation his son Holme Park Krug is an impressive sire.  In education with his rider Julia Wetton he is on the way to class S.  Both together show an aesthetic view.

Julia also showed the black Holme Grove Prokofiev.  The son of the sire Beg xx developed lots of impression in his movements and presents himself as a fabulous part TB blood Trakehner sire.

The foals are noble with big presence and outstanding movements.  To point out here the Krug children Holme Park Legend, Holme Grove Galax, Holme Grove Lotus and Holme Grove Celeus by Prokofiev and Holme Grove Sabal by Solomon.

The yearly Open Day is mainly to show the public the horses being bred at Holme Trakehners and a couple of sales were made that day and continue for some time after and prove this event in its success.
